We recently brought Omni-Science to the Fruit Market and then a community event down Hessle Road organised by Groundwork, which saw our Omni Unit carry out commands that ranged from making barista-style coffee, to having fun in a playground. We thought that Omni would be able to go offline and recharge his battery once the shows had finished, but instead he’s been in high demand!

We're very excited to be part of the brand new Tech Expo Humber, which connects education and enterprise to create skills for the future.
My name's Tor and I am a freelance production manager, stage manager and theatre-maker now based in Hull. I used to live in the Toon where I got a First Class BA (hons) in Performance from Northumbria University in 2014 - but I really wish I'd come to Hull Uni instead.
Hey there! I'm Jose Tevar and the Lighting Designer for Omni-Science. I had the pleasure of working with Brick by Brick on Omni-Science back in 2017 when they took over the legendary Piper for its inaugural performance. Very excited to help bring it back to life this September.
I'm Matt, an actor and freelance practitioner. Having graduated from the University of Hull with a degree in Drama and Theatre Practice, I then completed an MA in Acting at Arts Ed London.
Hello there, I be Andy Ross. I be one of the cast in this fine group of people. I was one of the original performers in its first outing, so very happy to be coming back as it combines a couple of my favourite things.
One: I get to do a bit of improv comedy / clowning (what I trained in). As the audience, in its original outing, get to command the robot what to do through live feed. I get to interact with live public whilst out and about but also with the audience through the live feed camera with whatever they throw at us. And two: I love thinking about and asking questions about how humans interact with each other and technology and what this does to us. I like thought problems like that of Black Mirror (not saying this is as great as Black Mirror)... Or am I? (I'm not).... Or am I? Ok that's enough of that, probably not funny or clever. I’m Alex Bennett. I studied theatre at university and specialised in set and costume design. Since then I've been working freelance as a designer and artist. I create artworks by commission, be they costumes, jewellery or greetings cards.
Hi there! I’m Jack Chamberlain, one of two Jacks responsible for running Brick by Brick and also a freelance actor, director and producer. I’ve been based in Hull since graduating from the University of Hull in 2014 and can’t imagine making theatre anywhere else. Outside of work I enjoy a video game or two as well as a good Lego set. Or three.
My name is Jack Fielding (not to be confused with the less cool Jack Chamberlain). I am a performer-director-theatre-maker.
Hello. I’m Joe Hakim. I’m a writer and broadcaster and I live and work in Hull. I’ve been trying to scrape by as a freelance creative-type for a few years now. I’ve worked a lot in spoken word and performance poetry, and I’ve also dabbled in theatre and prose.
