I'm Matt, an actor and freelance practitioner. Having graduated from the University of Hull with a degree in Drama and Theatre Practice, I then completed an MA in Acting at Arts Ed London.
Alongside performing in theatre and film, I also have various other interests, which include working with youth theatres, schools and also as a rugby league referee. Apart from performing, I spend most of my time involved in sports of some sort, enjoying basically every type of sport. Go team!
I will be performing as Sinclair Strata in Omni-Science, and as such am looking forward to bringing my unique version of a hybrid David Brent and Tony Stark to life!
I'm most looking forward to the excitement as the robot wakes up and we hand control over to the audience, never sure what quite might happen in the next hour or so.
My favourite gadget is a radio. Maybe something a bit more modern. A TV aerial?
My most used app would probably be Citymapper, helping me make my way around London efficiently. That's as exciting as my life gets.
My best '80s track would have to be Don't You (Forget About Me) by Simple Minds. A great song that I remember hearing a lot when I was younger, but is also just a perfect example of the type of '80s music that I and probably Sinclair Strata like to dance to.
Omni-Science runs at the Fruit Market in Hull on Friday 20th and Saturday 21st September 2019. Book your tickets.
